Hydra Pro 4.2 Download For Mac
Hydra offers innovative photo capture technology, and lets you take beautiful pictures even in the most difficult lighting conditions, which makes it a great companion to iOS Camera app. Hydra captures more light by merging up to 60 frames to make a single high-quality picture (less noise, more highlights/shadows) on iPhone and iPad. Hydra also goes beyond the 8- or 12-megapixel sensor limit, with up to 32-megapixel high-resolution images. It uses the latest evolutions of iPhone and iPad camera hardware, as well as the latest camera APIs and GPU rendering technologies. Hydra provides 5 specific capture modes: HDR, Video-HDR, Lo-Light, Zoom, and Hi-res modes. Hydra's High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode is based on an alternate method that captures up to 20 images and that is made to handle even the most difficult lighting conditions.
Video-HDR uses single-image tone mapping and device-specific sensor mode (iPhone 6) to create stunning videos. Lo-Light mode removes sensor noise by merging together multiple images and amplifying light by a factor of 10 to provide a better image quality. Zoom mode uses real-time, super-resolution technique to recreate missing pixels from hand motion, producing 2x, 4x and 8x scale factors with more details than the standard digital zooming technique(.). Hi-res mode produces up to 32MP images from the regular 8 or 12MP camera sensor, providing finer details in captured image(.). As of version 1.5, Hydra supports the telephoto and front cameras respectively in Zoom and Lo-Light/HDR modes. Hydra also features a photo gallery for reviewing images and their metadata, directly linked with built-in iOS photo album, thus avoiding duplicates and allowing to flag as favorites.
(.) recommended for static & distant scenery. Rendering artifacts can occur for scenes with parallax and for moving subjects. Support for Apple Watch: - Hydra can be remotely controlled by Apple Watch: capture mode can be changed, and photo/video capture initiated from Apple Watch. Live-stream preview of iPhone camera is displayed on Apple Watch. 3-second delayed capture mode. Handoff support: Starting Hydra on Apple Watch displays Hydra icon on iPhone lock screen for easier launch.

Remote Capture: - Support for bluetooth capture (shutter trigger) device like Muku - Volume button shutter trigger Other: - Image gallery support for older devices with less than 512MB (iPhone 4S, etc.). Images are displayed at a possibly smaller size to fit device memory. Added Original & Digitized Time(s) EXIF metadata to saved photos.
Minor bug fixes and enhancements. 1.0.2 Mar 10, 2015. Video recording improvements: - Hydra will now autofocus before the video recording starts, but it becomes a manual process during the recording. This avoid focus shakes during capture.
(thanks Allen B. For feedback) Photo improvements: - 12MP HDR on iPhone & 8MP on iPad are sharper (bug fix). Permission update: - As per user request, and even though Hydra only uses microphone to record sound for videos, Hydra will now work without microphone access (if you refuse access in first launch). In that case, recorded video will be silent. You can enable microphone at any time from global Privacy settings. Location & Microphone access (optional) are now better explained when authorisation is requested.

Bug fixes & enhancement: - GPS coordinate fix for West and South hemispheres. Silence switch is now observed for all photo modes. Video mode still emits start/stop sound because of a limitation of iOS. (we could remove it altogether, let us now what you prefer). Fixed a crash affecting photo gallery / metadata viewer. Fixed a crash that affect HDR photo saving.
Fixed crashes that could occur while recording videos. Lowered memory requirement & possible crash when exporting 32MP photos & videos (mail, etc.) - Fixed a crash in Help viewer. Fixed minor interface glitches.
Gallery access is now on the left for more coherence with Apple's Camera app. We receive a lot of support requests, and make our best efforts to fulfil those. Please keep in mind that Hydra is about capturing photos in specific conditions as it requires long exposure, and it is therefore not suited to moving objects or camera. It's complementary to other photo apps that perform well for regular shooting in everyday conditions, it's not a replacement. Thank you for your understanding, and thank you all for your extensive feedback on Hydra. 1.0 Jan 28, 2015. Cool guy dont tell no lie, Wow Okay so I never write reviews unless it’s for some bogus unlock in an app, but I’m writing this one because this is seriously the best camera app I’ve ever had, period.
It has an extremely simple layout, and every shooting Option can produce gorgeous photos, none of them feel like just a thrown together “filler” mode, and if you follow the tips it’ll get even better from there. Anyone who hasn’t already should see what happens when you take multiple photos of the same area/subject. The app doesn’t just mesh the frames it captures during one shoot.;) (insanely powerful and smart application guys, no complaints.) Developer Response, Thank you for the kind words! They are really appreciated!

Ranger222222, Best super sampling app This is the best app for super-sampling that I’ve used. This very easily gives you basically an.optical. zoom lens, using time to overcome the hardware limitations of your iPhone camera, instead of the traditional two pieces of glass far apart from each other found in stand alone cameras. Rather than needing a tripod or having to place your phone on a still surface, Hydra uses the small movements of your hands holding the camera to successfully supersample a high resolution image. Successfully removes the ugly iPhone rice-looking grain too. Developer Response, Thank you for the kind words! They're really appreciated.

Hydra Pro is the ideal application for easily creating artistic or realistic HDR images from up to 7 shots with different exposures. Are your photographs different from what your eyes actually see? This is because a single photograph cannot represent the full gamut of light due to the physical limitations in the sensor. It's not your fault!. Hydra is the solution. Hydra provides human eye-like perception to your photographs by allowing you to create High Dynamic Range (HDR) images from a series of regular photographs (up to 7), either from DSLRs or traditional point-and-shoot cameras. The output produced by Hydra is much closer to what your eyes actually see.
How does it work? Take several pictures of the same scene, changing the exposure value between the shots. Import your pictures into Hydra. Prepare the Photo: check if the images are correctly aligned, crop the image, and remove the ghost effect that could be visible on the image.
Develop the Photo: Select a preset, or adjust the output image (brightness, saturation, hue.). Render the HDR image, and share with the world through Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Mail. Which Features?. Processing Pipeline & Real-time Preview: Hydra first aligns the imported images, and then merges them in a smart way to preserve the interesting inputs of each image. This allows you to tune parameters in real time while observing the changing result until you are satisfied, and then render the full resolution image in less than one minute. Resolutions above 20 Mega Pixels supported. No tripod required: Unlike most HDR software, Hydra does not require pictures taken with a tripod.
Thanks to this unique feature, you can take photos anywhere to later merge them in Hydra. HDR from a single RAW image: You can also import a single RAW photograph into Hydra, apply tone mapping, and render an HDR image. Ghost handling: if an object moves across the different exposures, you'll get a ghost effect on the HDR image. Hydra enables you to select areas where you don't want to use all images for composition. Main Differences with the Express Version.
Following features are only available in Hydra Pro: - Import up to 7 shots to create an HDR image (only 3 in the Express version) - Batch Processing - Probe-based adjustments: probes are used to select areas based on distance/color/brightness tolerance User Guide available on the iBookstore: http://itunes.apple.com/be/book/user-guide-for-hydra-3/id540751427?l=fr&mt=11.
