Power Point 2011 For Mac

Hi all, This stupid program really annoys me. My Powerpoint on Mac DOES NOT run slide show (ridiculous right?) Whenever i press the slideshow icon on the bottom left, the first page of the slideshow pops up, and when i press next slide, it prompts that 'Powerpoint couldn't create hyperlink to. ' Every powerpoint file is like that, i don't have any video or sound file linked to any of my PPT.

I have no clue, even the warning itself is incomplete (couldn't create hyperlink to what?) Very annoying problem. I thought Powerpoint is designed to project slideshow.

Any one have any idea? Please please please share if you have a fix. PPT version: 14.1.0 Mac OS X 10.6.7.

I do not use this application (I prefer Keynote) but I did install it and the whole Office suite. I found that PP worked rather well and saw none of the problems that you are reporting. It did exactly as it was designed to do. Your problems may be related to your own installation or the computer. Are you seeing anything wrong with any other parts of the Office suite? Have you tried reinstalling. On the Mac, you might try things like repairing permissions (this sometimes works) by using Disk Utility; or it might be necessary to run a disk repair: start from the OS X installation disk, select the language, do NOT press install, but open the Utilities menu above and use Disk Utility there.
