Our team truly defines who we are as a practice, and we think they’re pretty amazing. We look forward to introducing ourselves in person, but for now, thank you for taking a moment to get to know us electronically! Melissa (Nephew) Meiste, MSPT (Owner and Physical Therapist) Melissa is the brains behind the outfit. She is the go-getter who keeps wheels turning, the entrepreneur who loves to create, and the visionary who dreams big things for the future.

She is also a practitioner who knows her stuff and takes great care in her role as a PT. Melissa genuinely enjoys getting to know you. She’ll get to the bottom of your pain, and while she’s at it, you’ll find yourself telling her your life story. We like to think of her as our extrovert extraordinaire. Melissa has practiced PT since 1999, opening up Nephew’s doors in 2006. She married her husband, Mitch, in 2009, and together they have two active and adorable boys, Cooper and Grady.

Outside of work, Melissa extends her creativity to her church, social life, and home. She’s an avid scrapbooker, softball player, and Entreleader (daveramsey.com), who won’t ever tire of helping others to strengthen marriages and achieve financial freedom. If Melissa could take a vacation tomorrow, she’d be on her way to a tropical island to enjoy the sun, sights and fabulous photo opportunities.

Joan Kroeze, MPT (Physical Therapist) Team member since 2009. Looking for a physical therapist who is also a globe-trotter, tennis star, volleyball coach, missions volunteer, amazing wife and awesome mom? You’ve come to the right place!

Joan brings eighteen years of expertise to our team, but beyond that, she’s an adventurer with a catching passion for people and the world. Joan can help the dizziest patient find balance, and she genuinely loves to get people back to what they do best. She brings a unique skill set to our team as she blends knowledge from PT experience in multiple settings. We so appreciate her for her introspective and patient way of approaching things in the daily.

Joan’s commitment to wellness, staying active, and trying new things is an encouragement to everyone she meets. Christine Byington, PT (Physical Therapist) Team member since 2016. Hannah VanNoord, PT A (Physical Therapy Assistant) Team member since 2018. Amber Johnson, MSPT (Physical Therapist) Team member since 2017. Rhonda Voss, Director of First Impressions (Front Desk Manager) Team member since 2017. This outgoing, fun, animal lover sure brings sunshine to our office. As a Holland native, she’s great at Dutch Bingo.

When she’s not chasing down insurance information you might find her sleeping in her tiny house, spending time with her grandkids, or on a beach in Mexico. She says that she loves a challenge and learning new things, which makes her a great asset in working as a patient advocate.

What you may not know about Rhonda is she extremely passionate about training rescue dogs. Personal Motto Live life to the fullest, you never know when God will call you home.
